The Farmington Memorial Day Parade has been a heartwarming community tradition since 1970 — and we’re proud to keep the spirit alive nearly 50 years later! Memorial Day falls on Monday, May 25 this year.

Come celebrate and honor our nation’s heroes with us on Memorial Day at 10 a.m.. The parade kicks off near Grand River Avenue and Orchard Lake Road and makes its way through downtown Farmington. It concludes at Oakland Avenue, where a ceremony will be held at the Farmington War Memorial Monument in Memorial Park. Grand River will close to vehicle traffic around 9:30 a.m. 

The ceremony will include local Honor and Color Guards, as well as distinguished guests from all branches of the military.

The Farmington Memorial Day Parade Committee invites everyone to line Grand River Avenue and join in paying tribute to our veterans, fallen heroes, active-duty service members, first responders, and the incredible parade participants who make this day so special.
