Randy O’Dell named 2025 Grand Marshal of Farmington Founders Festival Parade

The City of Farmington is proud to announce that Randy O’Dell has been selected as the 2025 Grand Marshal of the 51st annual Farmington Founders Festival Parade.

Randy O’Dell is a well-known and deeply respected leader in the Farmington community. He serves as the pastor of Freedom Gateway Center, is a chaplain for Farmington Public Safety, a licensed chiropractor, and an active volunteer on the City’s Grand River Corridor Improvement Authority (CIA), where he currently serves as Vice Chair.

Randy was nominated by his wife, Deborah O’Dell, who shared, Randy has a deep love for the community of Farmington. He gives his time and energy toward improving the lives of others—hosting and providing for events like Police and Pancakes at the Farmers Market and supporting families through his work at Freedom Gateway Center. She said that Randy believes that when families thrive, the entire community benefits—economically, educationally, and beyond.

Farmington Mayor Joe LaRussa, praised O’Dell's impact on the community, “Randy is someone who leads with heart, humility, and a deep commitment to service. His steady presence and compassion have positively touched many lives across Farmington. It’s an honor to recognize him as this year’s Grand Marshal.”

The Farmington Founders Festival Parade will take place on Saturday, July 19 at 10 a.m., marching proudly through Downtown Farmington. This year’s event will celebrate community spirit and recognize individuals like Randy O’Dell, whose contributions help shape a stronger and more connected Farmington.
