The Farmington Historical Commission is pleased to offer Historic House Plaques for buildings within the City of Farmington constructed in or before 1945. Plaques enhance the appearance of older homes while promoting community awareness of our local history. The plaques do not impose any restrictions on properties.
The Farmington City Clerk processes the plaque orders. The construction date on city assessment records will be used. If the homeowner can offer proof of a more accurate date, a Historical Commission member will contact you after your Application is received to confirm the date of construction.
