Farmington seeks members for Beautification and Parking Committees

The City of Farmington is looking to vacancies on both its Beautification Committee and Downtown Parking Advisory Committee.
 
The Beautification Committee focuses on programs that improve the physical appearance of the community; such projects might include citizen participation. They organize an annual Beautification Awards Program and, for the first time last year, the committee organized a BOOtification Award Program for outstanding Halloween decorations. Committee members serve a 3-year term. This vacant term will run through June 30, 2024.
 
The Parking Advisory Committee studies, evaluates, and makes recommendations to City Administration and Council regarding parking within the downtown area. Board members serve a 3-year term. The current vacancy is from through June 30, 2024. These are both volunteer position.
