Hillcrest Road slated for closure

Hillcrest is scheduled for the first lift of asphalt paving on Thursday, September 14, 2017 (weather permitting)It is important that the streets are completely cleared by 7 AM UNTIL 6:30 PM.  Please do not leave vehicles in the street unattended during this time period. Vehicles must be in driveways or parked on neighboring streets so the contractors can complete their work. If you plan on leaving and returning between 7 a.m. & 6:30 p.m., or have visitors, use abutting side streets for access and parking.
We also ask that you do not run your irrigation system near the roadway until after the paving operation is complete, as we need the existing surface to be dry in order to complete the paving operations.
Please keep children and pets away from the construction operation.  Construction activity and the associated equipment that goes with it are attractive to small children and can be dangerous to them.  There will be excessive truck traffic during the paving operation.  Be aware that during asphalt paving operations, the asphalt is placed at an extremely HOT temperature and can BURN feet of pedestrians and pets.  Pedestrians should stay away from the hot asphalt until it has cooled.
If you have any specific questions regarding the road construction, please contact Mr. Nasrat Nasser, Project Inspector for OHM, at (734) 891-2430, Mr. Mitch Master, Field Engineer for OHM at (734) 855-9876, or the contractor, Pro-Line Asphalt Paving Corp., Rick Cox at (586) 337-6643.
General questions on this project or others in the area should be directed to the Engineer, at (734) 466-4579 from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm.  Updated information will be handed out and attached to your front door as necessary.
Roads are funded through the property tax millage, residents will not receive a special assessment.
