Robbery at Credit Union

The Farmington Public Safety Department is investigating a robbery that occurred at Credit Union One located at 31716 Grand River Avenue on this date at 3:45PM. An African-American male approached the teller and presented a note announcing a robbery and that he was armed. The teller turned over an undisclosed amount of cash to the suspect at which time he fled the location on foot toward a neighboring shopping plaza. There were no injuries sustained to Credit Union One staff or customers during this incident. The Michigan State Police K-9 team assisted in a track with negative results.
The suspect is further described as 6’0 tall, 35 to 50 years of age, wearing a black baseball cap with the word “SECURITY” on the front. He was wearing a blue short-sleeve shirt, blue jeans and black shoes.
