Grand River Emergency Repairs

Many complaints from the public have prompted the City of Farmington and Farmington Hills to encourage MDOT and RCOC to begin emergency repairs to Grand River from Halstead Road to Downtown Farmington.
The first phase Farmington Hills assisted the City of Farmington with snow and ice removal from the curb areas on Grand River from Drake Road to Halstead Road. Some sidewalks have been blocked from this action. City crews will resume removal the snow and ice Monday morning. This weekend MDOT contractors and RCOC will begin emergency repairs.
Phase two will be the removal of snow and ice on Grand River from Drake Road to Downtown Farmington area. City of Farmington crews will clear sidewalks of snow and ice that has been spilled onto the sidewalk during this operation. The City of Farmington asks residents and drivers on Grand River to be patient allow crews to carry out this work.
